Lana del Rey

Supongo que ya habéis oído de ella. Es Elizabeth Grant, más conocida por su nombre artístico, Lana del Rey, y una de mis últimas obsesiones.

Amo cada una de sus canciones, por ese aire misterioso e inquietante que nunca antes había escuchado en otro artista musical. Y su voz. Aún me cuesta entender cómo es que puede jugar con los registros de su voz con tanta facilidad, y obviamente, sin que quede mal.

Si tenéis un alma meláncolica, o simplemente un poco de curiosidad, echadle un vistazo a su música.

I guess you have heard of her already. She's Elizabeth Grant, best known by her artistic name, Lana del Rey, and one of my latest obsessions.

I love each and every single song of hers, because of their mysterious and disturbing essence which I have never listened in any other music artist before. 
And her voice. It's still difficult for me to understand how is possible for her to play so easily with her voice range without making it look bad.

If you have a melancholic soul, or even a little bit of curiosity, check her out.

Así que ya es lunes...y como siempre empiezo la semana pensando ya en el finde. Pero, ¿qué le vamos a hacer? Así me entretengo!

Para los que tengáis exámenes esta semana, suerte, y para los que no, aprovechad (afortunadamente en este último grupo me encuentro yo hasta mediados de febrero)

So Monday has come...and as usually I start the week thinking about the weekend. But, what's the problem? It's the only way the days pass more quickly!

I wish everyone who has exams this week the very best of luck, and for those who don't, enjoy (fortunately I can say I'll be among this latest group of people until the middle of February)

Esta fue la segunda visita a esta ciudad, pero siento que la redescubrí, en el sentido de que muchos lugares, cosas e incluso pequeños detalles me recordaron un poquito a mi tierra, Chile.

Hermosa ciudad, tenéis que visitarla alguna vez en vuestra vida. Todavía tiene ese encanto rural y antiguo que nos hace viajar en el tiempo.

This was the second time I visited this city, but I feel like I rediscovered it, in a way that many places, things and even little details reminded me a little bit of my homeland Chile.

Beautiful city, you must visit it once in your life. It still has that rural and antique charm that makes us travel through time.

Eu's Birthday

Eu's 18 birthday

La recordaréis por esto o tal vez esto.

Para quien no la conoza, dejad que os la presente: ella es Eugenia; Eu para los amigos.

La conocí un día hace 4 años, pero no nos hicimos amigas hasta un año después de eso. Creo que es una de las pocas personas de las que estoy agradecida de haber descubierto, porque juntas, hemos aprendido un poco de todo en la vida.

Definitivamente no me pondré cursi ni nada de eso, así que terminaré este post agradeciéndole por estos años de amistad y estupidez que hemos compartido :)

But for anyone who doesn't know who she is, let me introduce her to you: she is Eugenia; Eu for friends.

I met her one day 4 years ago, but we didn't become friends until one year after that. I think she's one of the few people I'm glad of having the chance to discover, because together, we've learned a little bit of everything in life.

I'm definitely not getting cheesy and all, so I end this post thanking her for these years of friendship and idiocy that we've shared :)
